I was about to drift off to my dreamland of cotton-candy trees and chocolate rivers when I received a text message which made my cloud go 'poof '.

My phone is always kept beside me when Im in bed because I rely on the alarm that every phone has. So its not off and not on silent mode. And my sms ringtone is the low yaps from Fudge so ,of course, it woke me up.

I was wondering who is that owl that is still up at this hour to take this opportunity to drop me text. Groggily, I viewed the message:

'Ah Lok, tomorrow what time you gonna meet me?'

Unsurprised that Jasmine was still active in the wee hours, I made mental note to reply her back in the morning...when Im awake. Snuggling up to me bolster, I tried to fall asleep again when my phone rang.

My ringtone is nostalgia, you know the sound of really old English phones ringing? Im not a fan of using songs as ringtones because its so...blah. I remebered one time I was on the bus, some passenger's phone rang and his ringtone was Lonely by Akon. For some reason which is still kept in the dark, I found it stupid funny and started chuckling to myself.

Anyways, my phone rang. It was making a nusciance of itself and I had quickly answer it before my brother started screaming at me. I knew the caller was Jasmine.

''He.....llo.....,'' I groaned as sleepily as possible so that she knows that Im asleep and would hang up, but noooooooooooooo

"Elliot! Wa, why you sleep so early?" she said animatedly as though she drank truckloads of coffee.

I mumbled and grunted in response.

"Hey, tommorrow Im free. What time are your coming to place?" she continued, oblivious to the fact that she rudely interrupted my sleep.

"I dunno..3?" I muttered.

"3am or 3pm?"

"3 pm lar....goodness...what time is it...." I said and checked the time. "Its freakin 1 in the morning!!"

"Yarrrrr," said Jasmine, dragging the 'R' as long as possible. "I just finish watching a horror flick. It scalled 'Wrong turn 2'! Super scary lor!"

"Jasmine.....why are doing this to me!!!! Im sleeping!!!"

My only pathetic way of revenge.HAHAHAHA!
