My family and I have never ever ever supported Singapore's Chinese Local Dramas.
Because firstly, they are all so predictable. Secondly, so many bad actors. Thirdly, stupid analogies are created to discuss topics on family, love etc. And Lastly, what's up with the constant shouting and screaming across rooms?
After a long period of abstaining from those dramas, I caught one episode last night.
You know the 9 o'clock? The aids one? Think the title is 'Stand By Me' or 'By My Side'.. Ah ya,something to do with people not leaving you.

Well, the drama is about this guy who gets aids after you-know-what and the story revolves around him and his family trying to cope with the illness and the social rejection.
And so, I watched the 2nd episode of it, with Jasmine, and was critcising the whole drama all through that single hour.

One of the actors, Elvin Ng, pronounciation and articulation of his chinese words are all so bleah. It is as though he is a toddler trying to speak. And he acting sucks?Big time? Ok, ignore his oh-so-perfect face and body and just zoom in on his acting. You have to agree with me.
Oh oh!! You know his stupid ambassadoring of 'Sunshine Bread'? The one where he demostrates how to make a mini pizza out of a slice of Sunshine Bread on tv, as though all of us are like complete idiots at cooking? Freakin so dumb lor, goodness. He sounds more unprofessional when he speaks English. On top of that, after demostrating his magnificent work of art with food, he ends off with a wink.

Have you noticed Rui En? After disappearing from quite some time, she comes back through this show,as skinny as ever. Jasmine and I also concluded she also went under the knife and got a nose job.
Anyways, the slander finally stopped around the last 15min of the show coz I already ran out of stuff to say. For some reason, I was hypnotized by the blaring television screen and started to enjoy the last minutes of the show, going against all my beliefs and principles.
So at the last second, the show ended abruptly and instantly, there were two loud outbursts of 'AAAAAAhhhhhhyyyyaaaaaaaa!!!' from Jasmine and I. We didnt wanna it to end.
I wont let the craze for dramas happen again! Its addictive.
