Its a Friday so I have 4 days before I have another O paper that's why Im blogging! Cheers and claps*


So... The premiere of High School Muscial 3 was today.






As you can see the big bold OCT 24 on the picture which I took effort to google it and insert it here. Judging by their clothes, guess none of them retained their Senior Year. But if they retained, most probably they will be High School Musical 4, much to the HSM fans' delight.

So, here we go again. Another ' be true to yourself ' and ' dont let anyone stop you from chasing your dream ' movie. Before that there was HSM 2, 1 and , but of course, Camp Rock which all shared the same corny, cheesy, cliche theme.

Why am I so critical with this kind of movies, you might ask. You think I am just jealous because Im not like , ohh...what's his name, Zac Efron and that I dont have a girlfriend who takes nude pictures of herself.

Well, maybe some part of mois is jealous? But Im just more pissed off with several other reasons that maked me not pro-HSM.

Hang on, if you are a devoted fan of HSM and you're reading this. I hope its not too much trouble to ask you to come back to Earth before I proceed? Because you see, High School Musical keeps your head high in the clouds. After you watch one of those shows, Im sure that as you curl up under your covers and close your eyes to try fall asleep, you imagine yourself being one of those people dancing, singing duets, scoring a basketball point for Wildcats, and after that you fill your mind with empty questions like :

Why am I here in Singapore?

Why am I attending governement schools in ugly uniforms?

Why cant my school have an elite basketball team?

Why is it that I cant be like one of them?

New stupid questions will stack on the old stupid questions and on the older stupid questions and soon, your skull will just contain nothing but stupid questions on the main question ' Why my life is so unfair'.

Its just so sad, because they will not know the truth that HSM is like purely fiction? So this creates countless desperate but lame wannabes who reach out for ambitious goals of stardom, singing, acting, Hollywood.

Do you seriously think that High Schools in America are like High School Muscial?

Students there have to handle stress, not exam stress like we Singaporeans but social stress. For instances, always wanting to fit into the better social circles just so as to claim popularity, that smoking is fine, getting tattoos are cool, alocholism with driving is great. What's more, everyone is now compelled to have sex because if you are a virgin, you suck.

And what bothers me is that why is everything so musical and artsy farty and 'Oh, you're feeling sad. Wanna sing a song about it?'. All these shows are with music, singing, dancing and not like maths? science? solar power? the life cycle of a mosquito?

Umm, HSM1 has the science but still... so dumb.

Well, if you wanna like it because...umm... you like it. Dont make me stop you from liking it and like away your life.

I would know all these mixed feelings because I was one of them? I was into HSM1 and 2? I used to listen to their songs and sing along, stick their retarded stickers and posters all around the globe...

But I woke up. Realized how lamely obsessed I was and changed my ways.

Side note: The lamest song from HSM would be 'Bet on it'.

Anyways, what to do. I just have to brace myself as people start to change their MSN nick to lines and phrases from any of the songs, consistent hearing of humms and even open singing on those songs and 'Zac so hot! Zac so fine!' comments.

Now, for me, the most contridicting and hypociritcal thing would be to watch HSM3.

Hmmmss... I may have already done it.
