post-script

When I listen to crappy songs or corny songs or catchy song etc, I tend to sing along with it without reading off the lyrics. Through the strings humming and percussion thumping in the background, I'll try to decipher the words that come out from the singer's mouth with my keen sense of hearing and presume that Im right till someone tells me otherwise.

So, today while my polymates and I were inching to the next tutorial room, one of them pointed out the "Cats" brochure lying somewhere on the campus grounds.

I didnt know what came over me but I started to sing the hit song "Memories" from that muscial. I only know the melody and sort of know the first 2 lines of the song.

The song is suppose to go like

"Memories

All alone in the moonlight

etc..."

But I sang it like this:

"Memories

All alone in the movies

etc..."

And then everyone gave me the "Huh?" look before breaking into peals of laughter.

So that's how I became the joke of day. But my version rhymes so much better than the original one lor! "Memories", "Movies"!! SEE!!
